Ceres holds an APP certification from ASIS and a Cyber Security certificate from the University of Toronto. Currently a chair of WIS -Toronto chapter, was invited in 2023 to be the ASRVP of WIS ASIS Canada and a council member of CANASA Central. In her volunteer work, Ceres is an active champion of introducing girls to technology, connecting women professionals with companies that put diversity and inclusion first. In 2020, Ceres along with 4 female friends started a Brazilian women soccer association in Toronto that, today counts on more than 100 members, mostly girls who immigrated alone and were in need of a community environment to play sports and networking.
