| We are following Dan Jones, CPP and his current exploits in his UN assignment as a peace officer in the Sudan. Dan retired from the Edmonton Police Service as an Inspector and travelled to Qatar working with the College of Technology Project there. He was recently accepted into the United Nations Police for Sudan Project as one of two civilian members of a RCMP contingent that arrived in Sudan in January 2011. Dan is sending us regular updates providing a fascinating insight into the UN Police mission and the lifestyle and culture of the region. |
